Ozark Escape just for fun MSTA event. April 22-24, 2022

Springtime is my favorite time of the year. It is starting to get warmer, the leaves are starting to bloom and the smell of riding season is in the air. After a winter of sporadic winter riding and too many days, cleaning and maintaining the bikes. I am so excited for the riding season to begin.

What better way to kick off that riding season than riding in the Ozarks? The tiny city of Eureka Springs is nestled in the Ozark mountains in Northwest Arkansas. Eureka Springs has many attractions, one-of-a-kind shops, and numerous art galleries. The restaurants are amazing with something for everyone of all tastes.

Throw in some of the best motorcycle roads in the country and this event is a must!

In 2021 we had riders from 8 different states attend. Over 70 riders signed up. Unfortunately, the weather forecast was not very good, so a number of riders backed out at the last moment. We still had over 35 riders attend, even with the bad weather.

This year’s rally officially starts on Friday the 22nd. Some riders will come into the event on Thursday, so they can ride on Friday and Saturday before heading home.

The Quality Inn in Eureka Springs is the official rally headquarters. There will be a guided street and dual-sport ride on Friday and Saturday. Jamie and I will lead the street ride and our good friends Dustin & Kate will take the dual-sport group. Stay tuned for more information.

Routes will be available before the event starts for downloading. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us. We will try and answer all questions as quickly as possible.

New for this year will be the hamburger cookout that Jamie and I will put on Friday evening. There is a $10 fee (pre-rally) for the cookout to cover costs. For riders that decide to eat at the event, the fee will be $15. This will be a great time to kick some tires and set plans for the Saturday ride.

Saturday will be another day of exploring the Ozarks and enjoying some of the best roads in the country. Saturday night will be a rider’s choice for dinner. Due to current health concerns, we felt it was not a good idea to get a large group in one dining location. There are many options, so this should not be a real issue.

Sunday is get-away day as most riders hit the road early to ride home.
