Enjoying our last day in Evergreen
We decided that today we would just sleep in and hang out in the little village of Evergreen Colorado. I would love to live in a place like this. So beautiful and small but close enough to Denver to make it fun and besides the motorcycle roads are AWESOME in Colorado!
We walked around and just enjoyed the cool air. We hung out at Cactus Jacks in Evergreen for lunch. You can sit on the patio and listen to the creek rush by. It is a cool place to just chill and enjoy a beverage. That evening our hostess Vibeke took us for a great meal at the Tuscany Tavern. It was wonderful food, with great company and an awe inspiring view. Thanks Vibeke for dinner it was AWESOME!
My time with Alec was coming to an end. I always feel sad when we have to part, but we had a great trip and it was so nice to spend some quality time with my boy. I love you Alec.
Our time had come to an end in Evergreen, but the trip was only half over. Tomorrow we will load up the bike and continue the moto part of our adventure.. until then..
